Lights Out - Movie Review

Lights Out is the directional debut of David Sandberg who created the short film of the same name with his wife a few years back. He does great work on his YouTube channel and his eye for film-making and the horror genre really shine in Lights Out.This may seem like a generic horror film but has more depth and originality then you may think. Filled with great scares, solid acting, a good plot and some fist clenching suspense Lights Out is one of the best horror films in recent years. Check out the full review in the video below!

Swiss Army Man - Movie Review

Swiss Army Man is to me the definition of creativity, originality, and unique film-making that has been somewhat lost due to constant remakes and rehashes. This is such a simple film and such a intellectual meaningful film at the same time. The film follows Hank played by Paul Dano who is trapped on a island about to commit suicide when a corpse washes ashore played by Daniel Radcliffe. This corpse comes to life and is Hanks only guidance home as he embarks on the craziest journey of his life. One word to sum up this film is 'Spectacular'. The Purge Election Year Movie Review

The Purge Election Year is the third installment in The Purge franchise and it like its predecessors racks up the violence and mayhem. We follow our main character Leo played by Frank Grillo as he protects the Senator throughout the night of the purge so she can become president and stop the purge once and for all. This film while better than the first but inferior to the second has its moments and is quite enjoyable if you sit back and let all sense of reality slip away. The BFG Movie Review

The BFG is the latest film directed by Steven Spielberg starring Mark Rylance and Ruby Burnhill. This movie charts the adventure of a little girl Sophie and A big friendly giant who together stop the reign of evil cannablistic giants. While I was not overly excited for this film I left with a smile on my face and admire the effort that went into this film. For children this will be a instant classic but for adults it will be a decent adventure into giant country. Check out the full review video below!

Game of Thrones Season 6 Finale Review!

My review for the Game of Thrones Season 6 Finale 'The Winds of Winter'. By far one of the best seasons if not the best season of the show so far. All of the previous build up and story development was paid off in a grand fashion! Check out the review below!
